The BBQ Edit
Our sourdough ciabatta rolls received a special call-out in The Guardian’s barbecue roundup, so we decided to create our own BBQ edit.
Whether you’re setting the table or arriving with something to share, these are a few of our favourite picks for summer BBQs.
While the BBQ heats up
Something simple to start the evening.
Hummus and sourdough crackers are made for grazing while the coals get going, light and easy to pass around with a drink in hand.
As the BBQ gets going (the sharing moment)
This is where everything comes to the table.
Sourdough focaccia is made for tearing and sharing. Rich with olive oil and crisp at the edges, it sits easily alongside grilled vegetables, halloumi, and anything coming off the barbecue.
Our sourdough ciabatta rolls (as featured in The Guardian) are BBQ staples, soft and structured for burgers or grilled fillings.
For pescatarians and lighter plates
Our sourdough bagels offer a fresh option. Fill with smoked salmon, cream cheese, dill and lemon for something simple and satisfying.
As the evening settles
When the grill cools and people stay a little longer.
Cardamom buns, cinnamon buns and Pastel de nata, cut into pieces and shared at the table, are made for this moment. Soft, fragrant, and easy to pass around as the conversation drifts on.
Still here
For lingering plates and second helpings.
Classic sourdough with our Golden Glow or pistachio nut butter spread keeps things going, simple and easy to share while everyone stays gathered.
