Half term food inspiration
Half term is here and we have a few recipes to keep you and your little ones full!
Sourdough Pizza Party:
Ingredients:
- Sourdough bread slices
- Pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Your favorite pizza toppings (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, olives)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place sourdough bread slices on a baking sheet.
- Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on each slice.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and add your favorite toppings.
- Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and enjoying your homemade sourdough pizza!
Sourdough French Toast Sticks:
Ingredients:
- Sourdough bread, cut into sticks
- Eggs
- Milk
- Cinnamon
- Maple syrup for dipping
Instructions:
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and a dash of cinnamon.
- Dip sourdough bread sticks into the egg mixture, ensuring each side is coated.
- Cook the sticks on a griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat until golden brown on each side.

Sourdough Berry Parfait:
Ingredients:
- Sourdough croutons (cubed and toasted)
- Greek yogurt
- Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- Honey or maple syrup
- Granola for extra crunch (optional)
Instructions:
- In serving glasses or bowls, layer sourdough croutons at the bottom.
- Add a generous layer of Greek yogurt on top of the croutons.
