Using our classic Loaf Cuff Bagels, garlic bread is a great staple all year round. It’s a great way to make the most of your sourdough deliveries and mix up how you can enjoy your bagels.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 2 loaf cuff bagels
- 1 butter
- 1 handful of chopped parsley
- 4 cloves garlic
- Wild garlic
- Salt & pepper
Firstly, preheat the grill setting on the oven to 180C.
Whilst the oven is heating up, finely chop your garlic, parsley and if you have some, wild garlic. It adds another garlicky depth and colour. Sprinkle in some salt
Slice the bagel lightly into segments, however make sure you don’t cut through to the bottom - you want it to stay entact!
Smother the bagel in the garlic butter and bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Once toasted, remove from the oven and allow to cool. You can now tear and share or wrap it in foil and save it for your picnic; We topped ours off with some wild garlic flowers for decoration!
